Damien Hirst creates work for London Evening Standard

21 06 2012

Damien Hirst has teamed up with the London Evening Standard to create an exclusive cover marking today's launch of the London 2012 Festival.

The work, titled Seer, is made of butterflies and household gloss paint on canvas, printed in blue, and celebrates Hirst's first ever retrospective at Tate Modern, a key part of the festival. The piece can be seen on the cover of today's issue, which also includes a nine-page special on the festival.
